The Impact of the House Committee
The House Committee volunteers welcome guests to the show, help people find their seats, and pass out programs. They are ready to serve guests to the show with any needs they may have during the show. House Committee volunteers represent CPT to the community and work to make sure that the experience of attending one of our shows is a positive one for all who come.

The House Committee is a Show Week committee, and parent volunteers aren’t assigned to this committee before the show.Â
Show Week House Committee
The House Committee volunteers set up the theatre lobby in the early part of Show Week to prepare for our guests. Parent volunteers post Cast Bios on the entry walls, where guests can see a photo of each cast member and read a little about them.Â
We want all of our guests to have a good time, be able to celebrate their friends or family in the cast, and to know how much they are welcomed and appreciated. The House Committee volunteers are focused on preparing the theatre for the crowd, and providing a fun atmosphere after the show for cast and guests to mingle.
