Kim Klein

Kim Klein fell in love with theatre in 5th grade when she played Becky Thatcher in her English Class play. She acted throughout Jr and Sr High School and then did community theatres such as Shakespeare in the Park and Kechi Playhouse. She thought she was to go into theatre as a profession but God postponed her plans and called her into nursing where she met her wonderful husband. It also prepared her to take care of her mother-in-law in her final years. God knew her dream and brought her back into theatre, but as a director. That was 30 years ago. She began with church productions, then her kids’ productions, then she was asked to join CYT. Her first CYT show was Narnia. Five years ago she left to direct for Berean Academy and then Tabor College’s Anastasia and Pirates of Penzance. She now is soooo looking forward to bringing back Tarzan which she directed 10 years ago. Having two adopted children it has always been near and dear to her heart. Kim is married to Tom Klein and has 5 delightful children, a wonderful son and daughter-in-law. She is obsessed with her 6 grandchildren! Oh, it is so good to be home!
