Enthusiastic in life, work, and following Jesus wherever He leads her, Kendi has a wide variety of experience, including coaching volleyball, teaching, serving in women’s and children’s ministry, and serving on the sets and backstage committees at CYT Wichita (now CPT). Kendi is thrilled to be a part of Christian Performance Theatre and is eager to build sustainable support for CPT through engaging fundraising strategies that give current and potential donors opportunities to connect with CPT endeavors. Kendi and her husband, Bryan, have called Wichita home since 1999. They have five children: Jenna, Creed, Natalie, Kaytie, and Paige. Jenna, Creed, and Natalie are college students while Kaytie and Paige are homeschooled and in ninth and eighth grades. Cheryl Doeden
Office Administrator
A native of Wichita, Cheryl Doeden has been a part of the fine arts community from an early age. Trained on the viola, she participated in Wichita Youth Orchestras during junior and senior high school. She graduated from Tabor College with a Music Performance degree in viola and a minor in voice. She played with the Wichita Symphony for many years. It was at Tabor that she met her husband-to-be, Brad. Since then, she took on the new roles of mother and homeschool teacher to eight children, and more recently grandma to 21! Gratefully, in 2009 she saw her prayers for Christian Youth Theater to come to Wichita answered. She and her family have been involved ever since in various ways. Cheryl is thrilled to continue helping families now through Christian Performance Theatre. She and her family are active members of Evangel Presbyterian Church. [email protected]
