Amy has thirty years of wide-ranging experience in the corporate finance workplace, in the homeschool educational community, and in Christian children’s and women’s ministry. She is a founding partner and publisher at Blue Sky Daisies, an independent publisher of over forty-five books. Originally from Topeka, Amy graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics. After six years working in corporate finance here in Wichita, she stepped away from the office to focus on motherhood. She spent sixteen years leading and teaching in a homeschool co-op, where she taught literature, history, and other subjects. Amy and her family are active members of Evangel Presbyterian Church, where Amy serves in women’s ministry. She and her husband Howard have five children: Hope, Sydney, Lane, and Tobias are now adults, and Lydia is a ninth-grade homeschooler. Amy is deeply passionate about CPT’s mission to build Christ-like character through the performing arts.
