Dean Owens

Dean has been a theater dad since the first year of CYT WICHITA. All three of his girls graduated through the program with wonderful memories of CYT. Through that decade, he has served as drama instructor, technical director and those experiences combined with decades of youth ministry have allowed him to grow into a full production director. He studied Business Management at Friends University which allowed him opportunities to assist in starting a church, open a partnership business, operate a concert ministry all while developing a career as General Sales Manager for a Fortune 500 aerospace materials company. He has been married to his wife, Audra, for over 28 years. They also own and operate nOtsOnOrmAl Events and Entertainment for weddings, banquets, concerts, and the prom alternative, the nOtsOnOrmAl fOrmAl. His passion for youth to live boldly for Christ is what drives his vision for Christian Performance Theatre.
