Emma Groth

Emma Groth began her CPT journey as a student from 2016-2019. From the beginning she knew her dream was to be a director/teacher! She went on to receive degrees at Butler Community College in Technical Theatre and Secondary Education, followed by Friends University for Theatre Education. She has experience on stage as both leading roles and ensemble, as well as off stage in every aspect; director, classroom teacher, costumer, makeup, stage manager, etc! Her goal is always to elevate every production as much as she can while telling stories, teaching lessons, developing characters, and building connections through real human behavior as it relates to the stage. When she is not teaching theatre, she can be found photographing weddings on the weekends, thrift shopping with her mom, watching movies with her husband, making food, or petting her cats!
